On 27th May, 2026, Gombe L-PRES Coordinator Felicitates Muslims on Eid, Calls for Peace, UnityThe Gombe State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-Al-Adha celebration, urging citizens to embrace the virtues of peace, sacrifice, unity, and mutual understanding.In a goodwill message, the State Project Coordinator, Professor Usman Bello Abubakar, said the Eid celebration serves as a reminder of the values of obedience, compassion, and selflessness exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).Professor Abubakar called on the people of Gombe State and Nigerians at large to continue praying for lasting peace, unity, and sustainable development in the country.He reaffirmed the commitment of the Gombe L-PRES Project to enhancing livestock productivity, supporting livelihoods, and promoting sustainable economic growth across the state.The Coordinator also extended warm Eid greetings to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, the government and people of Gombe State, as well as the entire Muslim Ummah, wishing them a peaceful and fulfilling Eid celebration.
