Gombe State Government under the L-PRES and AcreSal Projects has convened a joint technical committee meeting with China Juncao Technology Development Center towards adopting sustainable options to provide livestock feeds, combat desertification and create job opportunities for women in Gombe state.

 

The development is in line with the vision of state Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya administration to revamp the livestock sector for economic growth and development.

 

In their separate remarks at the meeting held at the L- PRES Project Coordination Office the Coordinator Prof, Usman Bello Abubakar described the meeting as timely considering the commitment and passion demonstrated by Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa towards addressing the challenges facing the livestock sector and promoting environmental sustainability.
