Poultry Value Chain

The poultry value chain is a high-priority sector due to its potential for quick returns and contribution to food security. Interventions focus on improving hatcheries, access to quality feed, and vaccination campaigns to enhance bird health and productivity. The project also supports smallholder farmers, particularly women, by providing training in poultry management, disease prevention, and business skills. Modern infrastructure, such as climate-smart poultry houses and market facilities, are developed to ensure sustainability and improve profitability for value chain actors.
